EveryAction Receives Growth Investment From Insight Venture Partners To Do More Good

August 21, 2018 | EveryAction Team

I have great news to share. Many of you know that 2018 has already been a landmark year for EveryAction, our team, and our clients.

The over 15,000 nonprofits and campaigns served by EveryAction have raised as much in the first half of this year than was raised during the entirety of 2017. Many major nonprofits, like Planned Parenthood, the National Audubon Society, and the United Nations Foundation, have “made the switch” to EveryAction, driving our company’s 2018 nonprofit license revenue to increase by 85% over the same period last year.

We’re growing rapidly, and our company’s strong growth benefits our clients and validates their decision to partner with us. That’s why today we’re excited to announce an investment from Insight Venture Partners, a leading growth capital firm focused on high-growth tech and software companies.

This investment will allow us to accelerate our strategy to both acquire other companies and technologies, as well as to develop more innovative products and features on top of our unified CRM. Having the opportunity to work with the investors and resources that Insight Venture Partners provides is a testament to the great product the team built, enabling us to use this investment to help our clients do more good.

In conjunction with the investment, Insight Managing Director Deven Parekh will chair the board. Deven is on the Board of Trustees of the Tisch New York MS Research Center, and Lifetime Trustee and Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Publicolor, a New York City based nonprofit organization that focuses on inner city schools. He was also appointed by President Obama to the OPIC Board of Directors and the Ex-Im Bank Advisory Board. The board will also be joined by Insight Managing Director Anika Agarwal. These folks share our values and will be a tremendous resource for our team moving forward.

When we set out to build EveryAction, we envisioned a platform that would break down the painful data silos that exist in the nonprofit space, and to offer truly best-in-class digital, fundraising and organizing features that could serve both the largest and the smallest nonprofits and campaigns, all with one unified CRM. We’re so excited that others, like our new partners at Insight, share that vision, and we can’t wait to continue innovating and growing together in the coming years.

P.S. EveryAction is hiring immediately across functions for 25 positions! We’ve led the way on employee-friendly policies, including up to 12 weeks paid parental leave, and we were named one of Inc. Magazine’s “50 Best Workplaces” in the country. To apply, please visit https://www.everyaction.com/careers
